Dr. Yang & Associates
Dr. John Yang is a Registered Acupuncturist and Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine in British Columbia.
From 2003 to 2014 he was the Dean and Clinic Director at the PCU College of Holistic Medicine. As an expert in the field, Dr. Yang has given many national and international presentations and lectures on TCM. He is the current Chair of the Academic/Educational Committee of British Columbia Association of TCM and Acupuncture Practitioners.
Dr. John Yang currently works at the Kwantlen Polytechnic University of British Columbia which is the first public university in BC offering TCM-Acupuncture program. At Kwantlen, Dr. Yang is the program developer and the Chair of TCM department. Dr. Yang has over 30 years TCM and acupuncture practice. He is specialized in pain management and other internal medicine disorders.
Dr. Yang is also the President of the Federation of Traditional Chinese Medicine Colleges of Canada.
Dr. Yang graduated from Hainan University Medical School, Haikou, China. Dr. Yang received his TCM training at Hainan Provincial Hospital of TCM, Haikou, China, as well as a Ph.D from Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine.

Fees:
ICBC case: $0/session
All you need to provide is your ICBC claim number. No doctor’s note is required and no extra fees.
EXTENDED MEDICAL INSURANCE: $91/session
Most patients will have some form of extended medical plan to cover for acupuncture. We can direct bill
for most major insurance providers.
LOWER INCOME EARNERS: $70/session
If you are lower income earners, you will be qualified for MSP supplement program. You will be able to
submit receipts to your MSP for reimbursement.
